TERMS AND CONDITIONS COSTINGS
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking an event. By booking on SOE Expeditions you confirm that you have fully understood these terms and conditions. Once booked it is then classed as a legal contract, the contract is between SOE Expeditions and the client(s).
THE AGREEMENT
Clients must comply with the terms and conditions of SOE Expeditions. Clients must either pay in full or pay a deposit payment of no more than 30% which has cleared before their event is secured.
THE PAYMENT
A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking (if booking an event more than 8 weeks before the start date). The remaining balance will be required 8 weeks before the event date. The deposit is non-refundable. If payment is not received 8 weeks before the event date, SOE Expeditions will treat the non-payment as a cancellation of the course. By paying you fully accept the terms and conditions.
CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
If a client cancels an event then the deposit is forfeited, 8 - 6 weeks before the event date 50% of the event value forfeited and less than 6 weeks before the event date, the full value of the event is forfeited.
CANCELLATION BY SOE EXPEDITIONS
If SOE Expeditions cancels an event any money paid will be refunded in full. VARIATION OF EVENTS CONTENT All of our events can be tailored to meet client’s needs. However SOE Expeditions reserve the right to change the course content, should a situation occur, that may cause harm or risk clients safety. SOE Expeditions events take place in an outdoor environment and therefore is subject to circumstances beyond their control such as extreme weather conditions. 1
TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTINUED INSURANCE AND LIABILITY
Primal Adventures has £5,000,000 Public Liability Insurance to cover its activities. It is recommended that clients take out their own insurance to cover the duration of the course and travelling to and from SOE Expeditions events. SOE Expeditions events take place in an outdoor environment and client must acknowledge that these places are never completely hazard free. SOE Expeditions make every effort to minimise the risks and hazards. SOE Expeditions will not be liable for any accidents, loss or damage to personnel property as a result of client negligence, as a result of not following instructions from Instructors.
MENTAL HEALTH
In order for SOE Expeditions to deliver an authentic experience it is important that we know of any prior or ongoing mental health issues. SOE Expeditions bespoke experiences will sometimes involve individuals stepping out of comfort zones and taking part in experiences which could illicit previous life traumas if un-disclosed. To ensure SOE Expeditions staff can manage individual’s expectations and ensure they are safe at all times it is imperative that all mental health issues are disclosed prior to any event taking place.
DESCRIPTION AND PRICE OF GOODS AND EVENT
All descriptions and prices for items are correct and applicable at the point of sale. The descriptions including photographs are designed to show a true representation of the goods or courses. SOE Expeditions retains the right to change descriptions and prices as required. Descriptions and photographs do not form part of the contract between SOE Expeditions and the client. There is no contract between SOE Expeditions and the client until SOE Expeditions has received the order and the client has received a confirmation email back to the address you provide. SOE Expeditions shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage including loss of profit or any other form of compensation.

SOE Expeditions reserve the right to change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales, all changes will be made available for clients and potential clients to see on our website under the terms and conditions section. SOE Expeditions nor any of their representatives will be responsible for any illness, injury or death sustained on their trip except where such illness, injury or death is caused by negligence or that of their representatives, nor will they be liable for any uninsured loss of personal property. SOE Expeditions cannot be made liable for the consequences of strikes, industrial action, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, or other untoward occurrences.

CLIENT BEHAVIOUR
SOE Expeditions expect clients to behave in a reasonable manner throughout the event, if a client is behaving in an unsafe manner or is being abusive to any clients or instructor SOE Expeditions reserve the right to remove such client(s) from the event without refund, and SOE Expeditions will not be liable for any losses.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTINUED COMPLAINTS
Any complaints should be directed to the Chief Instructor during the event, ensuring that any issues can be resolved at that time. Any further complaints arising after the event must be received within 7 days after the event date. The complaints must be in writing to SOE Expeditions. If any complaints are received after this 7-day period SOE Expeditions will not be liable.
DAMAGES OR LOSS OF EQUIPMENT
SOE Expeditions reserve the right to charge for the cost of replacement or repair of items of equipment lost or damaged during an event. SOE Expeditions cannot be held responsible for any missed connecting transport that was booked independently of the Company. Even when advice was given on which flights the companies guide is taking. All flights booked by the client is at their own risk and responsibility.
PERSONAL INSURANCE
To take part in one of our trips it is recommended you are covered by adequate insurance for the complete duration of the trip. Your insurance should include cover for: cancellation, medical expenses, injury, death, cost of repatriation, search, and helicopter evacuation. Any subsequent costs for expenses such as hotels, food, transport etc shall be borne by the client. It is advised that the client ensures adequate insurance is in place before departure. Including a full medical disclosure to the insurance company of your up-to-date condition. A client leaving a trip at any stage, for whatever reason, will not be entitled to any refund or compensation unless agreed by the Director of The Company. Rates may vary, but once we have confirmed your booking, we guarantee the price won’t change. We will not pass on surcharges of any kind. We only offer itineraries that we are confident won’t change. Our pricing is simple and straightforward with no hidden extras.
